Foothills Relay For Life Inducts Allen Lund Into Hall Of Fame

La Canada Flintridge, Calif., May 19, 2010 — May 15th – 16th the Allen Lund Company sponsored and participated in the 10th annual Foothills Relay for Life. With both family and employees walking the track from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until 9:00 a.m. Sunday, Lund's Life Lights raised over $13,000 this year. This was the 8th year of participation by the company, which has raised close to $100,000 for the American Cancer Society. This years' event was very special, as the company was honored by the Relay Committee with an induction into the Foothills Relay for Life Hall of Fame for the company's volunteer efforts. "We support the efforts of the American Cancer Society and the continuing battle to find a cure for all cancers" stated Eddie Lund, Co-Captain Lund's Life Lights, adding "we have been committed to Relay for 8 years and are honored by the Hall of Fame designation."
