Hy-Vee is entering into the gourmet cupcake market with eight cupcake flavors and dressed-up frostings.
The company launched the cupcake line Wednesday.
At the Hy-Vee on South Minnesota Avenue, bakery manager Bob VanDenover and employees were coming up with creative displays for the new products. The store has sold cupcakes before and will continue to have the everyday cupcakes on the shelves, too.
