EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — MamaMancini's Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") (OTCQB: MMMB), an emerging manufacturer and marketer of specialty pre-prepared, frozen and refrigerated "all natural" food products (as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture), announced today an update on its growing retail distribution network. During the first quarter of calendar 2014, the number of retail store shelves nationwide offering MamaMancini's products increased 15% to 26,000 shelves, up from 22,640 shelves as of December 31, 2013.
MamaMancini's has gained new authorizations and distribution with several new retailers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, for shipment of product during first quarter of 2014. Some of the new distributors and locations include: Save Mart Supermarkets, in northern California; Gelson's Markets, in southern California; Reasor's Grocers, in Oklahoma; Pueblo Supermarkets, in Puerto Rico; Central Grocers, in Illinois; Neimans Distributor, in Illinois; Shaw's, in New England; Kroger-King Soopers, in Denver; Kroger, in its Mid Atlantic Division; Rouses, in Louisiana; Monterey Provisions, in California; Walmart, in several districts throughout the U.S.; and Central Markets and Kmart, in the Texas Division.
In addition to these outlets, MamaMancini's has also commenced selling product to two new food service accounts in the last several months with several additional locations of distribution.
