MADISON, Wis.—Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) has named Brenda Murphy to the post of director of Producer Communications and Programs. She comes to the board from Agri-View, one of Wisconsin's leading agricultural newspapers where she most recently served as sales and marketing manager. Previously, she was managing editor of that publication.
"Brenda brings outstanding experience in the dairy industry and professional versatility that is very valuable to this position," said Patrick Geoghegan, WMMB's senior vice president of Corporate Communications. "She has a well-rounded and thorough understanding of the dairy industry, numerous contacts throughout the state and strong management skills."
Murphy spent seven years with Accelerated Genetics in Baraboo before joining Agri-View and is familiar with WMMB as an organization, having served as an intern there during her college years. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and lives in Poynette.
The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is a nonprofit organization of dairy producers that promotes the consumption of milk, cheese and other dairy products made in America’s Dairyland.
