Brazilian meatpacker JBS announced an investment of US$100 million to build two factories in Vietnam, aiming to enhance its presence in Southeast Asia and strengthen its global market position. The new plants will produce beef, pork, and poultry, primarily using raw materials imported from Brazil, and will cater to Vietnam and neighboring countries. The agreement was formalized through a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnamese government.
