Donsuemor’s Pumpkin Spice Madeleine Sales Expected To Increase By 40% This Fall

ALAMEDA, Calif. –– Donsuemor, the original U.S. baker of madeleines, is projecting its pumpkin spice treat to surpass last year’s sales by more than 40 percent this holiday season. Summer Fancy Food Show (SFFS) attendees are invited to indulge in a #MadeleineMoment and taste the first batch of Donsuemor’s Pumpkin Spice Madeleines and other products proudly on display at Booth #6011.
Donsuemor twists the classic Traditional Madeleine in the form of a seasonal Pumpkin Spice Madeleine—a seashell-shaped cake, buttery and spiced with the flavors of pumpkin pie; cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove. These autumn treats will be arriving on retailers’ shelves in early Sept. through late Dec.
“The pumpkin spice trend shows no signs of stopping. The American consumer has fallen in love with the flavor. So, creating a twist on our classic, French-inspired madeleine not only felt natural for Donsuemor, but we knew our bakers could deliver an out-of-this-world delicious version that would be an immediate hit,” said Laure Chatard, Sales & Marketing Director of Donsuemor. “It’s no wonder that sales have climbed so significantly in such a short amount of time.”
Donsuemor’s affordable, elegant cookies have made their way to the forefront of the baking and snacking industry by staying consistent and reliable with their flavors and quality. Every batch contains European-style butter, cane sugar and fresh eggs. The products are certified kosher and have no preservatives or artificial flavors. Donsuemor’s product lineup includes Traditional, Chocolatey Dipped and Lemon Zest Madeleines, Vanilla Bean and Cinnamon Chocolate Sablés, French Almond Cakes, and the returning seasonal favorite, Pumpkin Spice Madeleines.
Media members can make an appointment to pick-up samples of the trending cookie and receive suggestions for Pumpkin Spice Madeleines in reimagined desserts like No-Bake Pumpkin Tiramisu or as a crust in Pumpkin Cheesecake. Attendees may also view the products merchandised in the What’s Hot display at the SFFS, from June 30 to July 2.
