WHITE PLAINS – Danone North America, owner of Dannon yogurt, Evian water and other well-known food products, confirmed Tuesday it will move its headquarters — along with 400 jobs — from Greenburgh to White Plains early next year.
The announcement comes after the city's Common Council on Monday unanimously approved a site plan and special permit to convert space in "The Source" building into offices, a cafeteria and a food laboratory.
A statement from Dessislava Miteva, chief people officer and vice president of human resources, said the move will allow Danone to "significantly update and upgrade the setting in which we work, which will allow us to continue to be a significant contributor to community stability and growth."
