Wegmans, Weis Add Wine Sales To More Lehigh Valley Supermarkets

Wine continues to flow into more Lehigh Valley supermarkets, which are banking on their customers' desire to shop for food and alcohol all in one place, especially in the run-up to Turkey Day.
That latest to add vino? Supermarket chains Wegmans and Weis Markets.
Wegmans, which began selling wine at its Allentown supermarket in late October, said it will start offering wine-to-go on Wednesday at its stores in Lower Nazareth Township and Hanover Township, Northampton County. Following the rollout at those two stores on Wednesday and at its Warrington and Williamsport locations on Thursday, Wegmans will offer wine sales at all 17 of its Pennsylvania supermarkets.
