Giant Eagle President To Retire

Giant Eagle president and chief operating officer John Lucot will retire June 30, following four decades with the company and four years in his current role.
Laura Karet, CEO of the O’Hara grocer, will assume the COO responsibilities.
The private company, which has about $9.5 billion in annual sales, operates more than 420 stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland and Indiana.
