Organic Grocer Lucky's Market Planning Multiple Florida Locations

Good news, Florida foodies: You may soon have another grocery shopping option.

Lucky's Market, a Colorado-based organic grocer, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal that it is planning multiple locations in the Sunshine State. The grocer' s first Florida location is set to open in Gainesville in January. The Gainesville location, a former Pic 'n Save store, is 30,000 square feet.

"Lucky's Market does have aspirations for growing in Florida," a spokeswoman wrote in an email. "Although it's too early to name any additional markets besides Gainesville, we are actively looking for more expansion opportunities in Florida."
