Giumarra Nogales Adds Ki Thompson To Sales Team

LOS ANGELES – Giumarra Nogales announces a new addition to its sales team, Ki Thompson. Mr. Thompson will focus on fruit and vegetable sales for Giumarra’s product grown in Mexico, including its line of Fair Trade Certified™ grapes, melons, and vegetables.

Most recently, he worked with Atlantic Fresh Trading, a fruit and vegetable distribution company. Mr. Thompson was previously based in Visalia, California for 25 years. The opportunity with Giumarra brought him to Nogales, Arizona.

“Ki’s product expertise combined with his experience and networks in logistics make him a valuable addition to our growing team,” says Gil Munguia, division manager of Giumarra Nogales. “We have increased our volumes out of Mexico and look forward to continue providing our customers with excellent service and flavorful products.”

During his career, Mr. Thompson also worked with L&M Companies Inc. for 9 years in brokerage, distributing, freight, and logistics.

Giumarra Nogales recently concluded its spring melon deal and is in the midst of selling grapes, both conventional and Fair Trade Certified, grown in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
