Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly Meat Products Win State Awards

Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly stores, which have made a major push into sausage production across its seven stores in southeast Wisconsin, says its brats, snack sticks and a chicken meat loaf product have been recognized in a Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors competition.

Fox Bros. says in a statement that it has won the following awards at the competition held in April:

The fresh original brat was named reserve grand champion in fresh traditional bratwurst category.

The precooked brat was named champion in the traditional cooked and uncured bratwurst category.

The shelf-stable beef snack sticks were named reserve champion in the traditional snack sausages category.
