The grocery-delivery service Instacart – which launched here in February – now works with Acme Markets as it nearly doubled its Philadelphia service area by adding Northeast Philadelphia and some suburbs in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

Now added are Olney, Fern Rock, Frankford, Juniata Park, Lawncrest, Bustleton, Fox Chase, Burholme, Oxford Circle, Somerton, Rhawnhurst, Tacony, Wissinoming, Oak Lane, East Oak Lane, Bridesburg, Mayfair, Stenton, Elkins Park, Flourtown, Fort Washington, Oreland, Glenside, Wyncote, Cheltenham, Dresher, Abington, Jenkintown, Willow Grove, Huntington Valley and Bensalem. Map of area is here.

In its new Northeast Zone, Instacart's personal shoppers deliver from Whole Foods, BJ's, Fine Wine & Good Spirits and Acme. In other areas in Instacart's Philadelphia zone, it delivers from all of those stores plus Super Fresh and Green Aisle Grocery.
