MeMa's Old-Fashioned Bakery has expanded its wholesale operations. The locally owned and operated bakery has opened a store in the Wyandotte Plaza Shopping Center at 78th Street and State Avenue in Kansas City, Kan. In December, MeMa's closed its retail and wholesale operation in The Legends due to lack of space.

The new 2,000-square-foot space at Wyandotte Plaza allows MeMa's to increase its production and includes a more spacious kitchen, additional equipment and new front room. A grand opening celebration will be held this month, but a date has not been announced. MeMa's has one other location in the Kansas City Power & Light District.
