Submitted photos should depict an aspect of the marine resources available on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, including recreational and commercial fishing, Coastal Preserves, marine plant and animal life, marsh areas, boating and Mississippi seafood.

Gov. Tate Reeves has appointed Matthew Mayfield to the Mississippi Advisory Commission on Marine Resources (MACMR) representing commercial fishermen.

The objective of the program is to promote the adoption of innovative seafood processing methods and the improvement of existing infrastructure. Applications will be accepted beginning 8 a.m., July 15 and close at 5 p.m. on September 13, 2024.
