Specialty Food Association to Recognize Honorees with Leadership Awards at 47th Winter Fancy Food Show

Six leaders in the specialty world will be recognized by the Specialty Food Association at the upcoming 2023 Winter Fancy Food Show. In recognition of their contributions to the $175 billion specialty food industry, the honorees will be celebrated on site at the Show on Monday, January 16, at 4pm.

Specialty Food Foundation Impact to Continue Through Grants

The board of directors of the Specialty Food Foundation (SFF), the 501c3 charitable sister organization to the Specialty Food Association (SFA), have voted to dissolve the nonprofit. The foundation will cease operations effective December 31, 2022. The Foundation was created to help meet the SFA’s goal of reducing food waste following its industry-leading annual Fancy Food Show events. It has been determined that working directly with local charities, food banks, and existing foundations is a more efficient way to meet that goal.

CPG to Debut at Specialty Food Association’s 2023 Winter Fancy Food Show

Specialty Food Association Releases 2022 Today’s Specialty Food Consumer Report

The Specialty Food Association (SFA) has released its annual Today’s Specialty Food Consumer research, a complement to The State of the Specialty Food Industry Report. This year’s online consumer survey saw 23 questions asked of 1,630 adults (age 18+) who say they share in or take primary responsibility with grocery shopping in their household. The survey was conducted with SliceMR in July 2022 to understand the motivations and habits of specialty food consumers.
