Shah will be responsible for merchandising strategy and analytics for the overall merchandising business. Food solutions company SpartanNash announced the promotion of David Sisk from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President, Chief Customer Officer. Sisk was hired in 2020 as President of SpartanNash Military and was promoted in May 2022 to Chief Customer Officer.

SpartanNash Acquires Great Lakes Foods

Food solutions company SpartanNash announced that it has acquired Great Lakes Foods, an independent grocery wholesaler, including its 300,000-square-foot distribution center in Menominee, Mich. The warehouse serves approximately 100 independent grocery customers across the Midwest and employs 125 Associates. SpartanNash will continue to employ the Great Lakes Foods team while investing in capital and IT updates to the facility and expanding service offerings to customers.

SpartanNash Foundation Donates $400,000 to 126 Food Pantries Across the Country

Food solutions company SpartanNash (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: SPTN) continues to support local food pantries across the country. The Company recently raised $313,000 on behalf of the SpartanNash Foundation through in-store fundraising efforts. The SpartanNash Foundation pledged additional funding to make a total donation of $400,000 to help fight food insecurity.
