Satur Farms Recalls Product Because of Possible Health Risk

Satur Farms, 3705 Alvah’s Lane, Cutchogue, NY 11935 is voluntarily recalling Baby Spinach and Mesclun with the specific lot numbers listed below because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Large Wisconsin Produce Farms To Be Inspected This Year Under New Agreement

Through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection will begin inspecting produce farms for compliance with federal food safety regulations this year. The inspections are part of the FDA Food Safety and Modernization Act’s Produce Safety Rule to better protect public health by focusing food safety efforts on prevention of foodborne illnesses.

Wegmans Recalls Fresh Cauliflower Rice, Veggie/Cauliflower Rice Blend and Stir-Fry Mix with Cauliflower

The recall was initiated by Produce Packaging, Inc. based in Cleveland, OH, which supplies these products to Wegmans and notified Wegmans that the product may have been contaminated.

Mannarich Food Recalls Siluriformes Products Produced without Benefit of Import Inspection

The Siluriformes products were imported to the U.S. on various dates from June 26, 2017 through November 13, 2018. The products have a shelf life of two years and all lots produced are included in the recall.
