Farmland Launches Maple Bacon-Flavored Cider for the Fall Season in Partnership with Minneapolis’ Number 12 Cider

This October – both National Cider Month and National Pork Month –Farmland is joining forces with popular Minneapolis-based, Number 12 Cider to introduce a limited-edition Maple Bacon-flavored Cider. Starting Oct. 7, cider lovers age 21+ can try the unique, limited-time offering served on tap at Number 12 Cider, while supplies last.

Farmland teamed up with the National Pork Board, Iowa Pork Producers Association, and country music superstar Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour to help fight food insecurity across the Heartland in September, contributing over 30,000 pounds of protein to the Food Bank of Iowa. With six Farm Tour stops including a stop in Boone, Iowa, Farmland and the National Pork Board will donate truckloads of protein to local food banks in Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Minnesota, for an estimated one million servings of protein.

The gift is part of the 2021 Honoring the Heartland Tour, an initiative launched by Farmland in June to show appreciation for the honest work and tireless commitment in Midwest farming communities, agriculture industries, and retail establishments, and to support the next generation of farmers, which includes the more than 760,000 current FFA student members.
