Darigold Renews Fundraising Partnership With Regional Girl Scout Councils for 2022 Cookie Season

Darigold, Inc., the marketing and processing arm of Northwest Dairy Association, is teaming up with Girl Scout councils across Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming as part of the annual Girl Scout CookieTM season to provide financial assistance for Girl Scouts who might otherwise not be able to participle in Girl Scout activities.

Darigold Resumes Partial Butter Production in Caldwell

Darigold, Inc. announced that it has resumed partial butter production at its facility in Caldwell, Idaho, a 91-year-old dairy production facility that produces butter and powdered milk products for the farmer-owned co-op. Darigold closed the facility after an October 12 fire tore through parts of the plant, causing significant damage to the facility’s production capability, and structural damage to some of the building.

Darigold President & CEO Stan Ryan to Retire March 31; Joe Coote Promoted to CEO Through Planned Succession

Darigold, Inc. announced that President and CEO Stan Ryan will retire at the end of the co-op’s fiscal year ending March 31, 2022, after leading the global dairy company for six years. Under the company’s succession plan, Joe Coote, who currently serves as president of Darigold’s Global Ingredients Division, has been promoted to CEO of the 104-year-old dairy co-op, one of the largest privately held businesses in the Pacific Northwest.
