Organic Dairy Farmers File Class Action Against Federal Government
Over 10 percent of U.S. dairy farms are certified organic, and they serve a consumer market that has grown from 1.9 percent of all fluid milk sales in 2006 to 7.0 percent in 2025. The current FMMO structure works directly against that demand, pulling resources out of organic dairy that could otherwise support expanded production.
