Reissued Recall Expansion: BrucePac Recalls Ready-To-Eat Meat and Poultry Products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination

Details of this release were updated to note the addition of 1,779,040 pounds of product subject to recall, increasing the weight from 9,986,245 to 11,765,285 pounds. This recall release has also been updated to reflect that recalled products were also distributed to schools.

Albertsons Companies Voluntarily Recalls 12 ReadyMeals and Store-Made Deli Items

The recall was initiated because these products contain a recalled ready-to-eat chicken ingredient supplied by BrucePac of Durant, Okla., which was found to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes during routine tests by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

BrucePac Recalls Ready-to-Eat Meat and Poultry Products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination

The ready-to-eat meat and poultry items were produced from June 19, 2024, to October 8, 2024. These products were shipped to other establishments and distributors nationwide then distributed to restaurants and institutions. Information regarding product labels and the list of products will be provided when available.
