Green Life Farms Issues Voluntary Recall of Baby Arugula Because of Possible Health Risk

Green Life Farms is voluntarily recalling one lot of its 4-ounce containers of Baby Arugula because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Symptoms of Salmonella may include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps. Illness usually occurs within 12 to 72 hours after eating contaminated food and usually lasts four to seven days.

Green Life Farms Expands Sales to 280 Additional Publix Locations

Green Life Farms announced that its products can now be purchased at more than 550 Publix locations in Florida. The controlled environment agriculture company recently added 280 Publix stores in the Tampa and Fort Myers vicinity to its list of retail locations; Green Life Farms already serves 270 Publix locations in South Florida. With a total of 13 farms planned in the Southeast U.S., Green Life Farms will continue to expand its sales territory with a variety of retailers as the company grows.

Green Life Farms Completes Acquisition of Finn Farms

Green Life Farms currently operates a hydroponic greenhouse in Lake Worth, FL, with its third of 13 planned locations currently under construction in Lake City, FL. The Finn Farms location expands Green Life Farms’ growing and sales footprint into Southwest Florida.
