USApple Kicks Off 2019-20 Apples4Ed School Grant Program

The U.S. Apple Association has launched its 2019-20 Apples4Ed initiative—a grant program that supports healthy snacking initiatives in public schools across the United States. USApple will fund five $4,000 healthy snacking initiatives on campuses in 2020.

Milwaukee Vocational School Awarded Apples4Ed Grant

The $4,000 grant is one of five being given this year by USApple to help schools provide access to nutritious foods while teaching students about sustainable, healthy eating patterns.

USApple Awards Rensselaer City School District with Apples4Ed Grant

The U.S. Apple Association (USApple) today awarded a $4,000 grant to Baltimore’s Robert W. Coleman Elementary as part of its 2019 Apples4Ed program. The grant will provide approximately 200 ‘weekend survival’ food-filled backpacks to its homeless student population.
