Summerside Seafood Supreme Completes $600k Plant Upgrade

A Summerside seafood plant has completed a $600,000 upgrade to its plant.
The upgrade will give Summerside Seafood Supreme a highly-regarded international food-safety certification standard from the Safe Quality Food Institute in Sweden.
This certification is demanded by Summerside Seafood Supreme’s international customers, said company president Gabriel Elbaz in a statement.
