Pender County Commissioners on Monday approved providing substantial incentives to the seafood-processing company planning to construct a facility in the Pender Commerce Park and bring numerous jobs to the county.
RC Creations LLC announced last month it plans to invest $28,547,000 to construct and equip a 95,000-square-foot facility for the processing of fish and food products in Pender County. The facility is expected to create 120 new jobs with an average salary of $33,308.
The incentive performance agreement commissioners agreed to enter into with RC Creations described the incentives as “a competitively necessary inducement for the company to locate its facility in the county.”
