Oregon Dungeness Crab Season Officially Opens

COOS BAY, Ore. — After a month-long delay, the Oregon Dungeness crab season officially opened Monday morning.

Last year more than 300 boats set their pots in Oregon waters, according to the Dungeness Crab Commission.

They say on average 70 percent of the annual catch is caught in the first month.
