COOS BAY — The Oregon Dungeness Crab Commission announced the appointment of a new executive director Tuesday.
Hugh Link, who joined the commission in 2004 and has been serving as interim administrator, will replace Nick Furman, who retired in 2012 after 22 years at the head of the organization.
The commission represents 429 limited-entry Oregon Dungeness crab permit holders, and is funded by crab fisherman.
