SACO – Sea Salt Lobster, a wholesale seafood company located in Saco’s industrial park that now ships more than 100,000 pounds of lobster a week, is looking to expand.
On Tuesday, after the Sun Chronicle’s deadline, the Planning Board was scheduled to get its first look at Sea Salt’s development plan, which consists of building a new, 9,600-square foot facility at 660 Main St.
The goal is to combine the company’s wholesaling business with retail and a small, mostly take-out restaurant with limited seating, at a highly visible location on Route 1, which sees about 30,000 cars a day going by.
