Cundy’s Harbor, ME – Hancock Gourmet Lobster Co. has introduced new package sizes for three of its best selling products. Products include Port Clyde Lobster Mac & Cheese, Linekin Bay Lobster Corn Chowder and York Harbor Lobster Risotto. The Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Lobster Risotto are now available in a singleserve 9oz. container. The Lobster Corn Chowder is now available in a 16oz. container. The new sizes offer customers a quick “grab and go” product to take home. Each of the products is easy heat and serve. “The new sizes give retailers the advantage of offering a package for customers who want just a single serving at an affordable price” said president Cal Hancock. “Our products do extremely well in the frozen seafood area of retail stores where customers are looking for a high quality, sustainable seafood product.” Products continue to be available in larger sizes as well as the new package sizes.
Hancock products are made in Maine using only Maine lobster and other locally sourced ingredients. The Lobster Mac & Cheese has been described as “cashmere quality comfort food” by the New York Times. In addition to Maine lobster, it is made with three cheeses, shell pasta and topped with a crunchy mix of Panko bread crumbs, and lemon herb butter. The Lobster Corn Chowder combines tender Maine lobster meat with sweet yellow corn in a creamy, perfectly seasoned lobster stock. The Lobster Risotto is a wonderful mix of the smooth taste of Swiss cheese, white wine and spices, topped with Panko bread crumbs mixed with lemon herb butter creating a perfect complement to the abundant Maine lobster.
