ST. FRANCIS, Wis. – The Wixon Foodservice Group will introduce its latest flavors and seasonings for ‘back of the house’ freshness in the form of a pickling bar at the MUFSO (Multi-Unit FoodService Operators) conference, Oct. 5 through 7 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion.
Visitors to Wixon’s booth #518 will be served samples of:
Classic Garlic Kosher Dill Pickles – ideal in cocktails, for snacking, accompanying a deli sandwich, or serving with meats and cheese. Added garlic delivers a burst of flavor, along with sharp vinegar notes.
Smoked Pickles – a spin on the traditional dill with a hint of smoke that creates a unique flavor. Chop these seasoned pickles into a relish, blend with tartar sauce, or use them in cocktails.
Spicy Jerk-Style Pickles – a signature taste of the Caribbean islands. These slightly spicy, sweet and tangy pickles are an exotic condiment for barbeque, hamburgers, grilled chicken, or just for snacking. The seasoning is fragrant with the flavor of allspice berries, peppers, garlic, and ginger.
