W. Lee Flowers To Expand Operations Near Lake City

FLORENCE, S.C. — Lake City can look forward to significant economic development from one of the areas oldest and well thought of employers.
W. Lee Flowers and Co., a wholesale grocery company, announced Thursday plans to expand operations at its main headquarters in Scranton, near Lake City.
The $6.5 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs, according to a press release from Gov. Nikki Haley's office.
W. Lee Flowers supplies IGA retail stores and independent supermarkets across South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
