BUFFALO, NY – Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. has been named a Quality & Service Award Winner for the third year in a row by Dot Foods, the largest foodservice redistribution company in the country. Upstate Niagara was one of only 17 to earn this honor in 2014 out of Dot’s 650+ manufacturer partners.
Dot Foods presents this highly sought-after award every year to valued supplier partners that provide exceptional service. Upstate Niagara hit every one of Dot Foods’ rigorous benchmarks to qualify for this recognition by supplying them with their Upstate Farms® Yogurt. These included providing an overall inbound service level above 98%, maintaining a load time for Dot Foods trucks in under two hours, and successfully creating a profitable fiscal year for the company.
Upstate Niagara will receive special recognition at Dot Food headquarters as part of the award, as well as being recognized on the company’s Dot Expressway® website, and at various marketing events throughout the year.
“Our company remains committed to providing high levels of quality and service in everything we do, and receiving this award is tangible proof of that,” said Nancy Elbert, Director of Foodservice Sales. “From our farms to every person in every department, it takes remarkable dedication to receive such positive praise every year. This alone is a perfect example of Upstate Niagara’s truly cooperative nature.”
