Atlanta, GA – UniPro Foodservice, Inc., the national foodservice distributor cooperative headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia has added six new members to its roster:
- Burklund Distributors Inc. – A multi-generation family business located in East Peoria, IL founded in 1939, supporting successful convenience stores and who is now growing their foodservice offerings in a multi-state area.
- Hearn Kirkwood – A multi-generation family business specializing in produce, located in Hanover, MD, founded in 1946, offering a complete line of perishable products including meat, seafood, poultry, and dairy items serving over five states.
- Julius Silvert Inc. – A fourth-generation broad-line distributor in Philadelphia, PA, started in 1915, that operates using state-of-the-art technology and facilities, servicing dining establishments throughout eight states.
- Hospitality Services Unlimited Inc. (HSU)/Caribbean Producers (CPJ) – HSU is located in Doral, Florida. CPJ is based in Jamaica and has a facility in St. Lucia. CPJ was founded in 1994 as an institutional foodservice distributor.
- Katsiroubas Bros. Produce – Headquartered in Readville, MA (Boston), a third generation specialty distributor that started back in 1914, operating out of a newer state-of-the-art facility growing beyond their produce core throughout New England.
- Southeastern Food Merchandisers – A southeastern regional distributor founded in 1988 out of Pelham, AL, covering 5 states for foodservice products, specializing in chain operated restaurants.
