The Fresh Market Inc., the North Carolina-based specialty grocery retailer, will open two new stores in the Sacramento area this month.
On Sept. 18, The Fresh Market will open its store in the Laguna Crossroads Shopping Center, 7707 Laguna Blvd., in Elk Grove. Grand-opening ceremonies are set for Sept. 25 for the store at 2339 Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento.
The two stores, each employing about 80 to 90 workers, will represent half of the chain’s presence in California.
