The new store will become the anchor store in Modesto's McHenry Village Shopping Center, at McHenry and Briggsmore, and will be the first major natural and organic grocer to serve the community of Modesto.

Sunflower Farmers Market currently has 33 stores throughout six Southwestern states. The store’s first California store, in Roseville, will open its doors on May 11. Like its sister California store, the Modesto location is expected to boost the local economy by bringing at least 100 jobs to the area.
