Shipt is expanding throughout the state of Alabama in a number of ways.
The Birmingham-based grocery delivery company will now offer delivery from Piggly Wiggly stores in its founding city.
"As Shipt's founding city, Birmingham and its residents formed the roots of our success," Bill Smith, founder and CEO of Shipt, said in a press release. "Through our new partnership with Piggly Wiggly, we're aiming to provide our friends and neighbors with additional options for grocery delivery, including access to a local favorite."
