Sam’s Club Honors Rich Products

St. Simons Island, Ga., March 19, 2010—The Consumer Brands Division of Rich Products Corporation was recently honored as “Supplier of the Year – Food and Beverage Division” by Sam’s Club at their Executive Summit. This is the second time Rich’s is being honored with this award, the first in 2006.

Michael Fuchs, Rich’s national sales manager acknowledges the awards significance. “We pride ourselves on the partnership that has evolved with Sam’s. With clear transparency and great communication, we have been able to improve margins and metrics, making our relationship a win-win for both Rich’s and Sam’s.”

Considered a strategic customer, Rich’s supplies Sam’s and Wal-Mart with bakery goods, meatballs, SeaPak shrimp, Farm Rich mozzarella sticks and quesadillas, pizza slices and Byron’s barbeque produced from plants located in Vineland, Brunswick, Waycross, Gallatin and Brownsville.

Sam’s has been a customer of Rich’s since 1983 and is a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. The first Sam’s store opened its doors in Midwest City, Oklahoma, in 1983. Today, they serve more than 47 million customers with locations nationwide, and internationally in Brazil, China, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
