Publix Most Valuable Florida Brand, Annual Ranking Shows

Publix is Florida’s most valuable brand, with a value of $6 billion, according to brand valuation and strategy consultancy Brand Finance, which evaluates top brands by country, by industry and against all brands worldwide.
America’s most valuable brands, which have a total value of $2.8 trillion, are ranked in the annual Brand Finance US 500.
Seventeen brands from Florida are included in the US 500 ranking with a total state value of $39.1 billion. Publix, the Lakeland-based grocery chain, grew 10 percent this year. The fastest growing brand is Norwegian Cruise, which grew 52 percent to $2.3 billion. Burger King is the state’s second most valuable brand with a value of $4.5 billion, and Royal Caribbean International is the third most valuable with a brand value of $3.4 billion.
