Publix Looks To Upgrade FL Stores Throughout Volusia, Flagler

Publix has spent millions of dollars in Volusia and Flagler counties in recent years renovating its stores throughout the Volusia-Flagler area.

In some cases, those store makeovers have involved gutting the interiors and completely redoing them to add amenities and create a fresh look.

The chain has also been looking to add stores in an effort to gain an edge over its competitors, which include national retail giant Wal-Mart.
