Price Chopper has recently hired three people who will work to bolster the supermarket chain’s information technology initiatives, grocery and merchandising departments, and loss-prevention efforts.
The Golub Corp.-owned supermarket chain hired Karlin Bohnert as senior vice president of information systems and chief information officer. She will report directly to President and CEO Jerry Golub. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the company’s information technology team and supporting the company’s IT initiatives.
Bohnert has more than 30 years of strategic IT experience working for companies such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, ANF, The Limited and MCI, most recently as chief information officer at RGIS in Michigan.
