Newark, Del., — Produce and foodservice professionals will connect and explore industry trends to bring more fresh fruits and vegetables to foodservice plates during PMA’s Foodservice Conference and Expo, July 29- 31.
Conference speakers include:
- Jonah Berger, Professor, Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania will discuss how to effectively market products to suite consumers’ wants and needs.
- Bob Whitaker, Chief Science & Technology Officer, Produce Marketing Association, Lance Donny, CEO, On Farm, Robert Stovicek, President, Primus Labs and Chef Kyong Carroll, Executive Chef, Bon Appetit@Google will explore the latest best practices in food safety to develop a trusted brand. Tim York, CEO, Markon Cooperative Inc. will be the moderator of this session.
- Patty Johnson, Global Food and Drink Analyst, Mintel, Carol Christensen, Director of Institutional Advancement, Monell and Chef Tony Baker, Montrio Bistro will explain what’s driving consumers’ interest in different ingredients, techniques and flavors.
- Richard Blais, Celebrity Chef, Juniper and Ivy, will share insider tips on today’s menu and dining trends and where they’re headed in the future.
