Randall Onstead will step down in two months as president and chief executive officer of Bi-Lo Holdings, parent company of Winn-Dixie. The company more than quadrupled in size during his tenure.
Company spokesman Brian Wright said Tuesday that Bi-Lo employees were informed last week that Onstead will leave his positions on March 1. His successor has been chosen, but won’t be announced until later, Wright said.
He said Onstead, 58, was not available for interviews and that he did not know what Onstead’s plans were after leaving the company.
