• Entrees comprise 63% of all menu items that mention “fried” in description. The average price of a “fried” entree is $8.93. Another 19% of “fried” menu items are categorized as appetizers.
• Fast causal establishments comprise 44% of all menus that mention “fried” in description. Casual dine and QSRs comprise another 28% and 27% of menus, respectively.
