Moffat, Inc. Exhibits Next Generation Turbofan Convection Ovens

ORLANDO, FL – Moffat Inc., specializing in the design, manufacture, distribution and after-sales support of commercial convection ovens, proofers and holding cabinets, exhibits their redesigned Turbofan Series including the E33, E32D5, E31, E27, E23 and E22 Electric Ovens at The NAFEM Show, February 7-9, at Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida, booth # 2307.

Making its NAFEM debut, the new Turbofan E33 convection oven has been designed to deliver better output from a smaller space. An improved bi-directional fan system for superior bake results, individual rack-ready interior and pre-programmability provides perfect food consistently quickly. Its compact 610mm width is ideal for an outstandingly small footprint with 1/1 GN capacity. Moffat has introduced a new touch controller for the 30 Series that offers up to 50 pre set menu items, three stage cooking, and an Icon driven menu system for intuitive functionality and pre-programming for ongoing ease of use.

The portable E33 has 5.8kW of cooking power, and a compact footprint for half size sheet pan or hotel pan capacity that is ideal for baking, roasting, and regenerating food products. The unit also includes a core temperature probe and five moisture injection levels – without the need for drain connections.

The E32D5 is the ultimate in a convection oven. This five tray model carries with it the heritage of the previous E32’s power and performance, and now with an updated design, state of the art features and the industry’s smallest footprint, it’s even better. Listed at 78 percent energy efficient, it is the second highest listing of all full-size electric ovens.A single phase connection and 6.5kW of power means it can cook and bake for every need while still being portable enough to be used anywhere, with or without a stand.

The Energy Star qualified E32D5 and G32D5 (gas model) both offer a footprint of only 29” wide by 32” deep, as well as space savings that reduces the size of the hood, while holding five full size sheet pans. The ovens also include electronic controls, high visibility digital displays, and a water injection feature that brings excellent results when moisture or steam is required. Outside, the exterior is full stainless steel. Inside, a bi-directional reversing fan system enhances the efficiency and evenness of heating. Included in the new design is a side hinged, low-temperature safe-touch door fitted with a cool touch handle and an easy to clean plug-in door seal.

“In addition to earning ENERGY STAR qualifications, our goal is to look beyond standard requirements and create high performance, cost effective, energy efficient oven products,” says PJ Joy, VP of sales, Moffat, Inc.

The Turbofan Series line of electric and gas convection ovens is a complete re-design and launch that was unveiled at the National Restaurant Association Show in 2010. The new series offers: bi-directional fan systems, an expanded line of models and tray capacities suit any application, portable cooking, plug-in continuous oven door seals for a perfect fit and easy clean, Safe-Touch vented oven doors with easy clean door glass, digital control models, halogen oven lamps for higher quality lighting and merchandising, an oven light auto-off for energy saving and extended lamp life, porcelain enameled oven chambers and more.
