Meijer Holiday Spot Earns Advertising Industry Accolades

GRAND RAPIDS — The Meijer TV Holiday spot, entitled "Do You See What I See?," continues to engage viewers and win accolades from the advertising industry for its heartwarming message celebrating the season's wonder and delight as seen through the eyes of a child.

Since its initial airing in November, Adweek first recognized the Meijer TV Holiday spot in its popular "Ad of the Day" column. The CW Network also featured it as the third best commercial in its "Greatest Holiday Commercial Countdown 2016," which showcases the Top 12 best holiday commercials of all time. Most recently, Fast Company's Co.Create Advertising blog lauded the spot's magical message.

"We are thrilled that our holiday commercial has touched people and generated such positive attention," said Nicole Laughlin, Vice President of Brand Development and Marketing for Meijer. "We wanted viewers to be swept up in the joy and wonder of the season – and remember that Meijer is there to help our customers enjoy the spirit of the season by offering everything they need to make the season special for themselves, their families and the ones they love."

The Meijer TV holiday spot was developed by Chicago-based advertising agency, The Distillery Project. The spot will air through December 25, 2016.
