Meijer Announces Opening Day For Bridge Street Market

Bridge Street Market, a neighborhood grocery store on the city's Northwest Side created by Meijer, is slated to open Aug. 29, officials from the Walker-based retailer announced Monday morning.

The 37,000-square-foot store, located at the corner of Bridge Street and Seward Avenue, will boast an array of fresh and prepared foods, including fresh meat and deli products, as well as 2,000 local, artisan groceries and national brands.

The store will also feature beer, wine and liquor, a Mayan Buzz Cafe coffee shop, and cleaning, health and beauty care products, according to a news release from Meijer.
