NEW ALBANY, MS – Master-Bilt®, manufacturer and supplier of a leading selection of quality refrigeration equipment for retail and foodservice, is pleased to announce that Tom Machingo has joined the company as Vice President of Operations.
As VP of Operations, Machingo will oversee all aspects related to safety, manufacturing and operational excellence. With the New Albany team, Machingo will be working to maximize company efficiency through operational improvements and improving job safety.
Machingo will also provide assistance to create continuous business improvements as an active member of the Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group leadership team. He will also collaborate with leaders of the Standex Food Service Equipment Group as needed to help drive group level initiatives.
Tom has many years of experience of operational experience including lean manufacturing, engineering, production, new plant startup expansions, production control, machining, metal fabrication and processing.
Before joining Master-Bilt, Tom was Senior Director of Operations for Unified Brands, and after that, went on to become the VP of Manufacturing at Ice-O-Matic for nine years. In that role, he provided strategic decision support to modernize manufacturing equipment and processes to increase profitability and competitiveness.
