Food distributor Harbor Wholesale Foods of Lacey has agreed to a five-year distribution relationship with Subway restaurants, the company announced Friday.
Under the terms of the deal, Harbor will deliver to more than 400 Subway stores throughout Western Washington and southeast Alaska. The partnership also will increase Harbor’s staff by about 10 percent, or 28 additional people.
“Our reputation as a Subway distributor will open new doors for us in restaurant and convenience food distribution,” said Justin Erickson, chief executive of Harbor Wholesale, in a statement.
