BJ's private equity owners approached the New York buyout firm to set up what is expected to be a $4.5 billion deal — five-times their original investment

CVC Capital Partners and Leonard Green & Partners, which purchased BJ’s six years ago for $600 million in cash (the remainder in debt), is looking to exit, according to the New York Post.
